 About Inline DJ

"The Inline DJ Vision"


Inlinedj.com is first and foremost an idea; one that says that being a DJ or producer should be about the music, not the politics. Electronic music artists should be able to perfect their art without having to spend all their time and energy on promotion.

Without wanting to eclipse this inherent part of one's artistic life, InlineDJ aims to reduce the burden of promotion and representation.

How do we plan on accomplishing such an arduous task? The answer is simple: a global community! InlineDJ is a non-lucrative organization and DJ community whose main goal is to facilitate the interaction between the promoters, the artists and the fans, as well as the proliferation of electronic music by bringing new ideas to the scene.

One of InlineDJ's main activities consists of promoting its members without limiting their rights. Artists are booked directly by promoters and InlineDJ asks no compensation in return; this way, everyone can reach their own goals more easily with this system.

Anyone who likes electronic music will confirm that it is more than a musical genre: it is a lifestyle. The Inline DJ community is composed of fans who have reached that conclusion as well as artists who live this passion on a daily basis.

InlineDJ is always looking for more talented and passionate artists to expand its community. Furthermore, we are constantly looking for fresh ideas to improve the site and the quality of nightlife.

We have a few projects already underway; all of which will surprise you. Association and/or collaboration proposals with different events are welcome. InlineDJ is motivated to constantly improve its reputation amongst promoters and EDM fans alike.

Martin
 Function : Administrator

The project of a community like that came to my mind gradually in a period of time that wasn't really good for Montreal's rave scene. I wanted to bring talented and passionate DJs and promoters closer. Inline DJ would be a solution to connect djs and promoters.

My good friend TranceFuZion first approached me with this project : built an online community. Describing itself as a non-lucrative organization, Inline DJ seemed to me to be a good way to promote talented artists by creating direct links between DJ's & promoters.

Max joined the team as a programmer to help Martin in the development of the site. Studying in software engineering, Max will be a great help for Inline DJ.
